Vitacuire is a family-owned company founded in 1952 by Emile Krief, an audacious restaurant owner from Lyon, France. The puff pastry technique as well as
the taste for high-quality products is a passion handed down from one generation to another! We are proud to be part of the journey and to promote the company’s know-how for more than 70 years.

We pay great attention to consumers’ expectations and the improvement
of our recipes is a day-to-day concern for our teams: shorter list of ingredients, removal of additives as far as possible and the Nutriscore enhancement.
All of our recipes are carefully examined to meet our customers’ expectations!

our environmental impact

OPTIMIZING OUR ENERGY CONSUMPTION

To reduce our energy consumption is a daily source of exchanges and concerns
in our company. Important investments were made these last few years
to reduce our energy consumption: heat-recovery designed to preheat domestic hot water, transition to LED. 

REDUCING AND RECYCLING WASTE

All of our organic waste are sorted and transformed into animal feed. We are also recycling every cardboard, wood and metal waste. Each year, we are gradually reducing the OIWs (Ordinary Industrial Waste) by working upstream on
the containers of our raw materials.

REDUCING AND AVOID OVERPACKING

We are working every day to reduce our products’ packaging. The entire range of our French friands is offered without plastic wrapping. Our puffed crowns references are being reworked to offer a plastic-free packaging.
